    Connect an Email Account

    1. Select “Manage Apps” from the user profile menu, the menu right next to your name and avatar in the top right hand corner.
    2. On this page, you will see all of your currently connected email accounts. These are available for you or anyone else (if you make them public accounts) to use when sending email out of the application.
    3. Select “add new” at the bottom of the screen. Choose to add either a Google email account or an alternative third party email account (e.g. Yahoo, Hotmail, and so on). If you decide to connect your Google account, all you have to enter is your username, password, and sender name (e.g. Chloe Griego, Service Department). For all other types of email accounts, you’ll need to add a bit more information. Here is the essential information that you need:
    • Server: host name, e.g. smtp.email.com
    • Port: a 2-3 digit number, i.e. 25 for unsecured SMTP, or 465 (legacy) or 587 for secure SMTP.
    • Security Type: TLS/SSL. In most cases these are interchangeable.
    • User name/Password: If the SMTP server does not use authentication, leave these blank. Otherwise, set them according to the username/password used for logging in to the emai
