2017 has been a very busy year for X2CRM | X2Engine Inc. and I am excited to share a few of our most recent accomplishments. First off, it is with great pleasure to announce a new round of investment into X2Engine Inc, and our new company Chairman, David Buchanan. A long time ago, in 1995 actually, I was offered a job with a very new and exciting, first generation CRM software company located in Santa Clara, California called Aurum Software – a pioneer in Sales Force Automation software. After five days driving my pick-up across the country from Georgia I began my silicon valley career working for Dave Buchanan, founder of Aurum Software. Like X2CRM, Dave founded Aurum out of his garage and grew the company very quickly into hugely successful NASDAQ IPO in 1999. Aurum was one of the very first CRM software IPO’s and I had the great pleasure to learn from Dave in these early years of my CRM life.
With Dave’s oversight X2CRM is now even more energized with additional company funding, expanded engineering and services team and new engineering office in Santa Cruz, California. I welcome Dave to our board of directors and am excited to have him on our leadership team as Chairman.
In addition to our company growth, I am also pleased to announce the release of X2CRM version 6.6. It’s a fairly heavy new feature release with a lot of exciting functional enhancements. We are already working on version 6.9 now with a release date in about three weeks. Version 7.0 is scheduled for this fall which features several major enhancements to be previewed in the coming months.
X2CRM Version 6.6 Update Highlights:
Marketing Campaign Management
New in this release is the ability to schedule email campaigns based on predetermined times. This allows marketers to set up and schedule emails to be sent days ahead of time, saving time and also ensuring emails are sent out at the most optimal times, 4:00AM for example.
Additionally, there is new support for open email rates, click rate, and unsubscribe rate metrics for tracking campaign performance. New marketing reports include the location and time when marketing emails are opened. Lastly web lead form landing pages’ thank you text can now be customized in the weblead form designer.
X2Workflow Check-in Location Marketing Automation
X2Workflow is a CRM Automation Designer which allows CRM Admins to track website visitors, capture web leads and create automated actions based on customer behaviors. X2Workflow is a clever and incredibly customizable business tool that places the power of X2CRM marketing, sales and service processes in the hands of customers, allowing them to fine tune their business and harness the abilities of the X2CRM platform.
New in this release is a “Location Logged” X2Workflow Action. This new location workflow action allows users to stay updated with a Notification, Email, SMS, or Activity Feed post that displays when a location is logged in X2CRM triggering a new workflow action.
X2CRM Mobile Android and iOS Apps
X2CRM 6.6 introduces a number of new mobile application enhancements. X2CRM is fast becoming a primary tool for mobile users by allowing the full contact action history to be seen on mobile devices. New in version 6.6 is the ability to create audio notes, make video recording and the ability to attach the user’s location, or Check-in to account posts. Additionally new barcode support allows for quick product information lookups based on barcodes.
Email Mail Server Connectors
With version 6.6, X2CRM includes full support for most all email servers to send out email correspondence and email campaigns. In addition to email open tracking, X2CRM also captures the location of the user when emails are open. This intelligence can then be used in X2Workflow to create marketing automation actions. X2CRM includes email server connectors for: Gmail, Outlook, Office365, Exchange, Yahoo, Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mandrill, Postfix, SendGrid, Rackspace and Dovecot and many other mail servers.
